We are fully committed to the physical and emotional well-being of every staff member at TechNET Immersive. Through Vitality Private Healthcare, you are able to book CBT and counselling through self-referral, F2F mental health therapy, healthy mind subscription as well as booking online GP appointments and physio sessions.
Mental Wellbeing Events
We like to get involved with physical and mental wellbeing events to raise money for great causes. Over the next year we will be taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge, and we will double all money raised. Our wellbeing catch ups are popular with consultants as they are able to have a regular, confidential one-to-one with a member of our HR team. This provides a safe space for our team to discuss anything they need.

As part of our tech stack offering, our consultants are able to collect points on Cube19 and through Vitality private health care to track mental health progress and highlight areas of improvement.

We pride ourselves on having realistic targets and goals that are genuinely achievable. This being said, we make decisions based on data, not old school KPIs. We utilise Cube19 to track ratios and numbers.
On a Monday we all gather round to discuss our ‘pledge’ for the week, if you complete your pledges by Thursday, you get Friday off!

Unconscious Bias Practices
Academy days – during our academy hiring days, our senior managers do not have access to personal information to remove risk of initial bias. Everyone at Ascent Group is hired on ability, not experience, which means we do not discriminate against those with or without further education or mass amounts of experience.
Video pitches – we find video pitching extremely effective when trying to create a memorable and comfortable experience for candidates. Some candidates react better when speaking to a friendly face, rather than an intimidating or unexpected phone call.
Personality styles – every new starter receives a personality quiz before their start date, which allows us to understand ideal working styles and practices. This also helps our senior management team to establish the right management techniques when training.
Transparent Equal Pay Policy
In simple terms, thanks to our transparent equal pay policy, our consultants have a clear understanding of salary banding per job title and a clear progression pathway. We are open about our compensation which means that you will be paid fairly and equally, regardless of gender or length of service.
Separate to the sales floor, we have a second kitchen, dining and break area upstairs. This is kitted out with comfy beanbags, sofas, Netflix, several games consoles, ping pong, darts and pool. You’ll never fall short of finding something fun to do.
We understand that sometimes a little space and privacy on the phone is nice to have. We have two phone pods on the sales floor with tables and Chrome Cast TVs set up.
