Through Vitality Private Healthcare you are able to book CBT and counselling through self-referral, F2F mental health therapy, healthy mind subscription as well as booking online GP appointments and physio sessions.

Mental Well-being Events

We like to get involved with physical and mental wellbeing events to raise money for great causes. Over the next year we will be taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge, and we will double all money raised. Our wellbeing catch ups are popular with consultants as they are able to have a regular, confidential one-to-one with a member of our HR team. This provides a safe space for our team to discuss anything they need.

Academy days – during our academy hiring days, our senior managers do not have access to personal information to remove risk of initial bias. Everyone at Ascent Group is hired on ability, not experience, which means we do not discriminate against those with or without further education or mass amounts of experience.

Video pitches – we find video pitching extremely effective when trying to create a memorable and comfortable experience for candidates. Some candidates react better when speaking to a friendly face, rather than an intimidating or unexpected phone call.

Personality styles – every new starter receives a personality quiz before their start date, which allows us to understand ideal working styles and practices. This also helps our senior management team to establish the right management techniques when training.
